Melbourne 2013 - Day 5

Greeted by clear blue skies once again!!

We took a leisurely short stroll to Victoria Market this morning as I wanted to get some vegetables (for little bun) and fruits since we have fresh fruits and vegetables almost right at our doorstep. It'd be really silly not to take advantage of it... fresh strawberries at A$5 for THREE punnets, A$1.50 for huge avocados, the little mandarins are so sweet (I think they are in season cos we see them everywhere) and the broccoli and asparagus here is half the price of what I normally pay back home!!

Chooo..chooo.....!!!

While on our way back to the apartment, we stopped by the playground and some little bun enjoyed himself tremendously!! My funny little bun was intent on going around and snffing all the flowers.. taking a leave out of Huskee and Hershey's book??

Playing on the slippery slide with daddy

Love this photo... mainly cos little bun was sporting a little happy grin! I have got to say nice weather does wonders to one's mood!

(the poor long-suffering bird that was the subject of little bun's attention)

I bought him this rubbery frog from some shop and he started carrying it around every time we go out. It has garnered a lot of stares because the frog actually looks quite real **gulp**

He looks so grown up in this photo..

Little bun was totally zonked out after playing at the park..  he went off to dreamland once his head hit the pillows and took a good long afternoon nap before we headed out again for our dinner date with friends. This dinner is the highlight of our trip and I have been counting down and looking forward to meet these friends of mine whom I have known for 7 years but never met in person!

Re-charging in progress...

It started drizzling slightly when we left for our dinner date.. it was actually pretty dreary but look how pretty  the photos turned out! I like how the bare branches are illuminated against the evening sky! (Yes, nothing can dampen my mood.. even cold, wet weather!)

The food was awesome, but our dinner dates, Greg and Brooke, are the best!!!! Brooke, if you are reading this, Mark and I expect to see you and Greg here soon. Can't wait to see you and show you around. Miss you guys and so very glad we finally met!

An extremely worn out little bun cuddling the present from Auntie Brooke.
