This little boy is getting more mischievous by the minute.. He is fast changing from my sweet and placid baby to a very active and always on the move little boy. He is a champion crawler and we cannot leave him unattended even for a single minute.. Nothing is safe from him, including Hershey's tail. He can now support his own weight and it'll be a matter of weeks before he starts cruising with the aid of furniture. He's definitely ahead of little bun in terms of motor skills.. he's sitting on his own without support and crawling just before he turned 7 months, able to support his own weight before he reaches 8 months.. 

It amazes and baffles me how vastly different my boys are even at this tender age.. Kyran is the gentler, milder and needier one (and more whinny too) whereas Ayden is the sturdier/ hardier one who hardly ever cries or even let out a whimper (to be honest, I think he cries less than 3 times a week.. actually even less!). He is go-getter and when he wants something, he just tries to get it on his own.. Kyran would simply point and yell for one of us to get it for him. 

I wouldn't bat an eye if Ayden ends up assuming the 'big brother' role when they grow up.. seriously wouldn't surprise me one tiny bit! Watch this space!!

I bought little bun #2 a gift too when I was getting little bun his birthday present. Didn't want him to feel left out!! Little bun's godmother thought the same way and she gave him a present too!

My happy baby was a bit puzzled by all the fuss around him but he quickly got down to playing with all the new toys.

On the morning of our 10th year wedding anniversary, I left my 3 boys for a whirlwind business trip to Hong Kong.I tried to keep my trip as short as possible and crammed 3 meetings into one day so that I won't have to be away for too long.

I was shocked to see how polluted the air in Hong Kong was.. basically the whole place is shrouded by smog!! **cough cough**

Today marks the day where we have officially been 'Mr and Mrs' for a decade!! You deserve to give yourself a pat (or maybe even 2) on the back for putting up with me for so long (and yet still remaining sane). 

These 10 years have been nothing short of eventful, and filled with one too many roller coaster rides. However, I am very glad that it was your hand that I was holding on to throughout the roller coaster ride, and you did not let go of my hand even once, no matter how difficult it got sometimes. In fact, when things got tougher, you held on even tighter.

Happy 10th Anniversary to the man who swept me off my feet, the man who stole my heart, the man that makes my heart flutter, and the man who puts butterflies in my stomach when he's around, the man who makes me laugh even when skies are grey, the man whom I can always depend on, and most importantly, the father of my children.

Mark and I took half a day off on little bun's birthday and brought him to Universal Studios Singapore to meet with his favourite characters. He WAS really into Shrek for the past few months, that was until a few weeks ago before he discovered Madagascar. We were able visit Shrek and Fiona at the Far Far Away Castle and see the Madagascar characters too! To top it all off, there's also Sesame Street.. Elmo is one of the few cartoon characters that little bun recognizes and he happily calls out his name every time he sees Elmo.

It was a hot and humid day (typical Singapore weather) so we didn't stay too long. It's a good thing we bought the annual pass so we can always go back whenever we feel like it!! (And the 2 boys can go in for free!)

He has been watching Kungfu Panda, along with Shrek and Madagascar, but I think he was rather intimidated by this encounter Po!!!

Little Bun is TWO Years Old!!!

My precious darling boy is TWO years old!! I don't know where the last 2 years went, but what I do know is that every single minute of those 2 years was an absolute joy.

We held you in our arms for the first time 2 years ago. From that moment on, our lives changed forever, and for the better. Every single day since you were born, you've added something so special and amazing to our world that we can't even imagine our world without you in it. 

You have taught me sooooooooo many things, even before you came into this world. You made me understand that I needed to learn to have patience, for the best things in life are worth waiting for. And above all else, you taught me to continue to keep the faith and to persevere on, no matter how difficult it is and whatever setbacks life throws at you. You have changed my life in a way that I will never be my 'old self' again. I learnt to empathize, and be more sensitive to other people's hidden pain.. that behind each smile, it could be hiding a lot of pain. 

In my 2 years of being a 'mother', you taught me how to love unconditionally and wholeheartedly. I have found the true meaning in this new chapter of my life, and every day is such a blessing. Being able to kiss you goodnight and whisper 'I love you' in your ear is something I look forward to every night. You have brought out a side of me which I never knew existed until today. 

Happy 2nd Birthday, my darling little bun. We love you so much. Remember that you will always have Angels watching over you..

The photo was taken earlier this month at Mark's house... There was a mass birthday BBQ party for family members born between late September to late October (apparently many Libras in the Lee family)!! Little bun got an early celebration for his 2nd birthday and we will have a small celebration at home this Friday! **boohoo.. my baby is turning 2!!**

Little Bun #2 is 7 Months Old!!

Couldn't resist taking these naked photos of him (and praying hard at the same time that he doesn't decide to pee). He may very well hate me for doing this to him when he grows up, but I'll worry about that later. 

Happy 7 months old, den-den!! You are sooooo easy to love and a total ray of sunshine to all whom you come into contact with. If all babies are like you, I am sure Singapore's total fertility rate wouldn't have been so abysmal!!

 

Mr Sunshine woke up bright and cheery.. blissfully unaware that he is going for his follow-up vaccination later today!  

Mark dropped the 2 of us off on his way to work and then it was just me and den-den. Honestly I may not have had the guts if it was little bun cos he is trickier to manage, and I 

wouldn't have want to be alone with him in public without Mark. On the other hand, little bun #2 is a breeze and I had no qualms being with him without someone else around to help. 

The doctor said den-den is doing well and his motor skills are quite advanced for his age.. He'll be turning 7 months old in a few days but he has already been crawling.. I recall little bun didn't start to crawl until he was past 8 months old. Whatever it is, I am just happy that he is healthy and happy.

Bali Trip - 2013

Little bun spent the following morning was spent at the pool together with Faith and her daddy. Both kiddos had a whale of a time until we all got slightly sun burnt!! 

Don't know where he picked it up from, but of late, little bun has the habit of pulling funny faces when we are taking photos! (Cute but annoying too cos he 'spoiled' a few nice pics by sticking his tongue out).
